Merry Christmas to our many friends met through our MYcycle tours and guests who’ve stayed at Mysore BnB

Stephen is back in Mysore after a visit to the UK to meet his first granddaughter. The season is getting busier with four cycle tours in four days! Here are guests from Germany and Australia;
We often have requests from guests for postcards to send to family and friends or as a souvenir of their visit. We know its bit retro but eh….we’re therefore planning to publish a small selection for future guests.
Check the photos we’ve posted on flickr (click the link at the word POSTCARDS) and tell us which you’d like to see as a postcard. Select the top three and send the relevant letters (they are labelled A onwards) to tours@mycycle.co The overall preferred images will be published.
In addition if you have favourite photos or would like to see postcards of specific places in and around Mysore tell us and we’ll go out on a photo shoot.

Chotu Ganesh…Lifenali Neevu Yaru Channagirbeku Anta Bayistiro Avarige Kalisi wish you Happy Gowri Ganesh. Its the time of year when we invite Ganesh into our house to our Pooja room for a few days before we immerse him in the River Cauvery by Srirangapatnam island.
We’ve had a wonderful time meeting our guest families, they are featured in the photos accessed through this link. We try our best to cater for families at the Bed and Breakfast and on our cycle tours on Srirangapatnam island. At our home we have plenty of shared living space, a guest kitchen, games and books. amongst our cycles we can cater for all ages with a child seat, small bikes and a tag-along. contact us to find out more.
VBB or Vets Beyond Borders is a wonderful NGO in Australia that send volunteer vets to work on projects around the world to serve animals. Locally there’s a project to work with stray dogs at the Tibetan camp in Bylakuppe. ManjulasMysore has developed the MYvet programme to help the vets acclimatise to India with a stay at Mysore BnB and a MYcycle tour with an added animal dimension! Here’s photos of some of the great volunteers.
Guests really like our Sea Buckthorn Jam and juice that’s especially imported from the Himalayas. a regular supply of decent cheese escapes us although kind guests sometimes smuggle it from Europe. BUT the latest big hit is soda bread as developed by Stephen’s son Ben at http://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/season-kitchen
